Light Rail Systems

Total Tool Supply Inc. sells and installs LodeRail systems from Columbus McKinnon.

LodeRail enclosed track cranes and jibs were developed to provide a lightweight ergonomic alternative to beam and rail cranes. The roll-formed enclosed steel track is designed to provide very low rolling force. Your load can be manually moved with a 100:1 productivity ratio. For example, an operator can start moving a 500-pound load with 5 pounds of force. Ease of movement, all steel construction, capacities to 2-tons and bolt-together design, provides a quality crane system
at an affordable price.

LodeRail freestanding cranes, with unique miter joints at the support assembly connections and other design features, provide a crane system that is robust enough to meet the stringent requirements of the Uniform Building Code, Seismic Zone 4. The LodeRail design provides an additional advantage, no required sway or “X” bracing to the building steel on standard systems. This feature reduce the installation time and cost that is common with other systems. LodeRail ceiling suspended cranes and monorail do require bracing in most cases. They are designed to the same engineering standards as our freestanding systems.
