Grade 30 Proof Coil - a general purpose utility chain used for pulling, logging or towing.
Available in 3/16, 1/4, 5/16, 3/8, or 1/2

Grade 40 High Test - has a higher tensile strength than Grade 30 used for hauling and other general purpose applications.
Available in 1/4, 5/16, 3/8, or 1/2

Grade 70 Transport - primarily used for load binding in the transportation industry due to its light weight and high tensile strength.
Available in 5/16, 3/8, or 1/2
.

Grade 80 Alloy - a high tensile strength chain designed to be used in lifting applications manufactered by Gunnebo Johnson corp.
All Grade 80 chain and components are proof tested at their factory.
Available in 1/4, 3/8, 1/2 5/8, 3/4, or 7/8.

Grade 100 Alloy - 25% stronger than Grade 80.  Combine with GrabiQ components.
Available in 5/16, 5/8, 1/2 or 5/8

Total Tool is offering a new way to fabricate chain slings. It is called GrabiQ. GrabiQ is a new family of alloy chain sling components. Rather than utilizing "one component" that fits one job, GrabiQ combines up to three functions in one single component. GrabiQ Master grab serves as a master link a connecting link for two legs of chain as well as shortening hooks for each leg. All of these are incorporated into one fitting. Depending on size, working load limits may vary. Slings fabricated from grade 100 chain and fittings average nearly 25% stronger than their grade 80 counterparts. To convert from grade 80 to GrabiQ will greatly benefit user who make use of the additional W.L.L. without the added expense of larger chains and fittings.

Total Tool also stocks a variety of components to go with each grade of chain including sling hooks, grab hooks, couplers and rings.

Wire Rope
XIP is the most common grade for wire rope. We stock this grade in sizes from 1/32” to 1-1/2” XXIP can be special ordered if need for a special application. XXIP has a 10% higher nominal strength than XIP. Which allows people who need this grade to use a smaller diameter wire rope and still have the same capacities as XIP.

All wire rope of the same classification, size, grade and core have the same nominal strength and weight per foot. Different constructions within each classification differ in working characteristics. These characteristics must be considered when you are selecting a wire rope. The two most popular classifications are 6x19 and 6x37, with either a wire center core or a fiber core. Total Tool has a wide variety of classifications and constructions available, please call our customer service center for help in designing your wire rope or placing an order.
